The Story

On October 25, 2008 Matthew & Caitlin Boles were driving on Route 31 from Westminster, MD to Frederick, MD to take their ACT Tests. Their car hydroplaned and they were struck from behind. Matthew was pronounced dead immediately, and Caitlin passed in Baltimore on November 7, 2008 surrounded by her family.
Matthew was born on March 19, 1991 in Round Rock, TX. As a kid, Matthew's family moved frequently, but no matter what town or what state Matt lived in, his peers loved him. In 2003, the Boles moved to Westminster, MD, where Matt spent his last years surrounded by loving friends and family. Matt was an active member of his church. He held the position of Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. he was working on finishing up preparations for his BSA Eagle Scout Project. He planned to attend BYU and serve a full mission. He skated, played the guitar, sang and wrote songs, and created beautiful art. He was respected and loved by all that knew him. He just had that way of making you feel good. Most importantly, he lived his life to the fullest everyday. He was a Boy Scout, an 'A' student, a great friend, son and brother.
Caitlin was born May 30, 1993 in Austin Texas, she passed nobly as an Organ Donor Hero on November 7, 2008 in Baltimore Maryland, saving lives in the process. Caitlin was a dedicated and passionate student leader at Westminster High School / CCSGA, 2006-08. She was a serious person, who cared about everything and everybody. The 5th child of 8, she was a natural leader and peacemaker. Caitie loved soccer, cooking, acedemics, dancing and fun!  Caitlin was a young women with a big heart and a love of friends and family. She will forever have an impact on those that knew her.
